How do I bulk upload images?

Updated on

Many of our client's find it easier to upload images directly to an item.

When you upload images directly to an item, our system names the images for you. If you bulk upload images, you will have to rename them to attach them to the correct item.

Bulk uploading images requires you to rename the images to attach them to the correct inventory item.

Image names should be saved so that the file name matches your inventory number (e.g., 12345.jpg would get assigned to item #12345 in your inventory). You can upload multiple images per item by appending an underscore and number to the file name.

Example:Book #12345

  • 12345.jpg or 12345_1.jpg (Image 1)
  • 12345_2.jpg (Image 2)
  • 12345_3.jpg (Image 3)
  • ... and so on

Bulk Uploading Images

1) Click on the 'Upload Images' link under the 'Images' heading in the Control Panel menu.

2) Then, click on the 'Browse' button to select image files for upload. Navigate to the folder on your computer where the book images are stored. You can select up to 100 images at a time for uploading.

3) After selecting the files, click the 'Upload' button to upload to your website.

To select multiple adjacent files hold down the Shift key while clicking the first and last image. All images in between will also be selected.

To select multiple images that are not adjacent, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking each image.
