Finding an ASIN
To find an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) on Amazon, navigate to the product's detail page and look in the product information or product details section. The ASIN is a unique 10-character alphanumeric code used to identify products within Amazon's catalog. Alternatively, you can find the ASIN in the product's URL, specifically after "/dp/".
Detailed Steps:
Navigate to the Product Page: Search for the product on Amazon and click on its listing to open the detailed product page.
Locate the Product Information Section: Scroll down the page to find the section labeled "Product Information," "Product Details," or something similar.
Find the ASIN: Within this section, you will see the ASIN listed as an alphanumeric code (e.g., B07XJ8S3CT).
Check the URL: Alternatively, examine the product page URL. The ASIN is the 10-character string following "/dp/". For example, if the URL is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XJ8S3CT/, then the ASIN is B07XJ8S3CT.
For books, the ASIN is the same as the ISBN.
