Using Ecommerce Tracking in Google Analytics

Universal Analytics properties will stop processing data on July 1, 2023 (October 1, 2023 for Analytics 360 properties.  Follow this link to learn how to add a Google Analytics 4 property to a site that already has analytics:  https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/9744165

 

Login to your Google Analytics account.

Navigate to Conversions > eCommerce > Overview.

Note, if you are not sure if you have enabled Ecommerce Tracking in your Google Analytics account, you can do so by clicking the Admin link.

Click Admin and navigate to proper view.

In the VIEW column, click Ecommerce Settings.

Set Enable Ecommerce to ON.

Click Save.

You can choose the date range you want to view with the date selection upper right. Within the chart, you should see "Top Revenue Sources" and under that "Source/Medium."

Clicking "Source/Medium" will show you sources and their revenue totals. Bibliopolis automatically generates Google tracking codes for certain features that can help you track revenue generated by your website. Below is a list of some of the common sources.
